Residents witnessed substantial frozen pellets as large as 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts confirmed that different parts across the state had been hit with large hailstones.

Rescue organizations handled 598 emergency reports across the region, mostly for structural issues but also for collapsed vegetation and flooding.

At one point on the previous day, more than 28,000 power users in Victoria were experiencing outages.

Moist weather were expected to linger along much of Queensland's east this week as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
Tomorrow was predicted as the wettest day, with persistent thunderstorm potential anticipated across multiple regions of both areas.

Public health experts warned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, specifically given the current weather patterns.
